Enrolment Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Infinity Dance Nation! Whether you’re joining as an adult student or enrolling your child, this agreement sets out our shared commitments to ensure a safe, respectful, and inspiring dance experience for everyone in our community.

Section A: General Policy of Enrolment & Payment

All enrolments at Infinity Dance Nation (“IDN”) are subject to the following terms and conditions:

1, All payments made to IDN are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. Students are solely responsible for confirming their schedules prior to making any payment.

  • Term-based classes require re-enrolment each term to maintain enrolment status.

  • Non-term classes operate on a top-up and booking system. Class fees shall be deducted from the student’s stored balance based on class duration and type. All credit passes have a defined validity period. Any unused balance after expiry shall be forfeited and is non-refundable.

  • Trial Passes are strictly limited to new students and may be purchased only once per individual. Trial Passes are non-transferable and may not be repurchased or used under any other identity.

    • Adult Trial Passes apply exclusively to regular 60- or 90-minute group classes.

    • Kids Trial Passes apply exclusively to regular 60-minute group classes.

    • Each class may be attended as a trial up to twice per student.

    • Trial Passes do not apply to expert-level classes.

2, Expert-level classes follow a separate pricing structure and are not eligible for discounts or Trial Passes unless otherwise specified in writing by IDN.

3, Credit from top-up memberships may be applied towards term enrolments. Students should contact the front desk for further assistance.

4, All group classes are subject to a minimum enrolment of four (4) students. Should enrolment fall below this threshold, IDN reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, reschedule, or merge classes, and will provide advance notice to affected students.

Section B: Attendance, Leave, and Make-Up for Non-Term Classes

1, Bookings must be made at least eight (8) hours in advance and are subject to class availability. Unbooked sessions will not be counted and will not be deducted from the student’s balance.

2, Cancellations must also be made at least eight (8) hours in advance, either through the booking system or at the front desk. Late cancellations shall be considered used and shall be deducted from the student’s balance.

3, Missed sessions, including no-shows or late cancellations, in credit-based programs shall not be eligible for make-up classes or credit refunds. Exceptions, such as long-term illness or relocation, may be considered upon request and at the sole discretion of IDN. All decisions regarding such exceptions shall be final and binding and shall not be subject to further review.

Section C: Attendance, Leave, and Make-Up for Term Classes

Term-based enrolment is subject to a fixed schedule. Students are responsible for confirming their availability prior to enrolment to ensure consistent attendance throughout the term.

1, Regular Classes

1.1, Attendance and Make-Up Classes

  • Students who are unable to attend a scheduled class for personal reasons may attend a make-up class of equivalent duration and level in another group class across any dance style offered during the same term.

  • Make-up classes are intended solely to recover the duration and value of the missed session. IDN makes no guarantee as to the replication of the specific content, choreography, or progression of the original class.

  • Students wishing to recover the exact content of a missed class may arrange a private one-on-one session with the instructor, subject to the instructor’s availability and additional fees.

  • If a make-up class is offered and not attended, the original class shall be deemed attended, and no credit, refund, or further make-up opportunity shall apply.

  • Students who anticipate multiple absences (e.g. due to travel or examinations) must either enroll on a casual basis at casual rates or pay for the term in full. Partial-term enrolment at term rates is strictly not permitted. Once enrolled in a term, all attendance, leave, and make-up policies shall apply without exception.

  • New students enrolled in regular term-based programs may withdraw within the first three (3) weeks of the term without penalty. Withdrawals after this period shall incur an early exit fee of $100.

1.2, Conversion to Credit

  • Students may convert up to two (2) missed classes per term into credit for use in the following term.

  • A processing fee of $50 per class shall apply for each conversion to credit. The processing fee shall be waived if the student enrols in the following term.

  • All credits must be utilised by the end of the following term. Any unused credits shall expire and are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.

2, Expert Classes:

2.1, Make-Up and Credits

  • In view of the specialised nature of the Expert Classes, make-up arrangements for absences due to personal reasons shall be determined at the sole discretion of IDN, taking into consideration the student’s level, class content, and instructor availability.

  • Where a suitable group class exists, IDN may, at its sole discretion, offer a make-up session of equivalent duration in another class. In such cases, if the make-up class carries a lower fee than the originally enrolled Expert Class, no fee adjustment, refund, or credit shall be provided under any circumstances, as the absence is attributable to personal reasons and not to any fault of IDN, and the student expressly waives any claim to the difference. IDN makes no guarantee that the make-up class will replicate the choreography, progression, or specific content of the original class.

  • If no appropriate group make-up option is available, the student may convert one (1) missed session per term into credit for use in the following term.

  • Once a make-up class has been selected and attended, the missed session shall be deemed used and cannot also be converted into credit. Credit transfers shall only be available where no suitable make-up class is offered.

2.2, Known Limited Attendance

  • Students who are aware in advance that they will be able to attend only a limited number of weeks in a term (e.g. due to travel or competitions) may elect to pay solely for the weeks they will attend, but must do so at the applicable casual rate. Partial-term enrolment at term rates is strictly not permitted.

3, Class Cancellations by IDN

In the event of a class cancellation due to instructor unavailability, IDN will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement coach of equivalent professional level at the originally scheduled time.

Once a suitable replacement coach has been arranged, the class will proceed as scheduled. Personal preferences regarding the replacement coach will not entitle the student to a refund or credit.

However, if a replacement cannot be arranged, the affected group session will be converted to class credit for use in the following term. This policy applies only to students enrolled for the full term.

If the student has formally informed IDN that they will not continue in the next term, a refund may be issued instead of credit.

4, Late Arrival

In the case of late arrival, all sessions will finish at the originally scheduled end time. No additional time will be provided.

5, No-Shows and Late Cancellations

Sessions missed without valid notice—including no-shows or late cancellations—will be charged in full and are not eligible for refund or credit.

Section D: Private Lessons

1, All private lessons operate on a pre-payment basis. Payment is required to confirm any booking.

2, If a private lesson is cancelled due to instructor unavailability, the fee may either be refunded or converted into credit at the discretion of IDN.

3, If a student is unable to attend a private lesson for personal reasons and provides at least twenty-four (24) hours’ notice, the lesson may, at IDN’s sole discretion, be rescheduled or refunded.

4, Cancellations made with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice shall incur the full lesson fee, and the session shall not be refunded or rescheduled, unless the student presents a valid medical certificate for the missed session. Acceptance of such documentation and any resulting rescheduling shall be at the sole discretion of IDN.

5, In the case of late arrival, all sessions shall conclude at the originally scheduled end time. No additional time shall be provided.

Section E: Studio Conduct and Safety

1, To ensure a safe and efficient class experience, all students are required to arrive on time and wear appropriate dance attire and footwear. Students failing to comply may be denied participation in the class for safety reasons.

2, For performances, competitions, or public showcases, students must adhere to IDN’s presentation standards, which may include the use of official studio branding on teamwear or costumes.

3, While IDN takes reasonable measures to maintain a secure environment, it accepts no liability whatsoever for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings brought onto the premises. Students are advised to leave valuables at home whenever possible.

4, By enrolling in IDN’s classes, students confirm that they are in suitable physical condition to participate in dance or exercise-based activities. Students with injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations that may affect participation must inform IDN prior to attending. If uncertain, students are advised to consult a medical professional before joining classes.

5, IDN shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in classes, except where such injury, loss, or damage arises from proven negligence by IDN. Any pre-exercise discussions or informal screening do not constitute medical advice and do not guarantee the prevention of injury.

6, Participation in classes is voluntary. Students are encouraged to remain aware of their physical limitations and are welcome to take breaks or modify movements as needed.

7, IDN maintains a respectful and inclusive studio culture. Any behaviour that compromises safety, disrupts the class environment, or violates studio policies may result in suspension or termination of enrolment without refund. IDN reserves the right to suspend or terminate a student’s enrolment without refund in the event of behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with studio policies.

8, CCTV surveillance operates throughout both the building and IDN premises. Damage to studio or shared property may result in liability for the cost of repair or replacement.

Section F: Copyright and Media

1, All class content, including but not limited to choreography and teaching materials, constitutes the intellectual property of IDN and shall not be recorded, copied, reproduced, or distributed in any form without the prior written consent of IDN.

2, From time to time, IDN may, at its discretion, photograph or film classes and events for promotional, marketing, or community purposes.

3, By enrolling, students irrevocably grant IDN the right and permission to use images or videos of themselves or their children for promotional, marketing, or community purposes, including but not limited to use on the IDN website, printed materials, and social media platforms, without any compensation, unless a written request to opt out is submitted to IDN.
